Single family detached residences or a single-family home are generally built with an enclosure of front and back yard, a beautifully planned drive way, and attached car parking or garage. It is a form of a detached residential building or a separate house where each unit of housing is alienated by a ground-to-roof wall and where no housing units are built above or below. A good number of single-family homes are constructed on masses much greater than the configuration itself with an addition of an area adjoining the house. This pattern is usually called as a yard. The trend of single family homes is most common in the wealthy industrialized nations of the United States, like, Canada, Australia, Northern Europe and New Zealand.
