What exactly is a “network marketing scam”?

Few home business models offer similar income potential. Because of this, people who are out to scam others sometime package their deal to resemble a genuine network marketing opportunity, so they can attract home business seekers more easily.

What else makes people think “network marketing scam” when presented with a legitimate opportunity? Often, it is negative experiences that they (or other people they know) have had.

One other thing often happens. When a new associate works hard for a few months, but has little to show for the effort in terms of money, they often decide that the business isn’t worth pursuing any longer.

The bottom line here is that building a successful network marketing business requires four things.

Get involved with a solid opportunity and choose an upline that is ready to help you reach success. Make sure you communicate well with them and feel comfortable working with them.

Don’t rush out in all directions when you start your business. Study and follow your upline’s success coaching. Be willing to learn and do things right.

Plan your business and follow the proven system. It’s great to be creative and innovative in building your business, but get the basics down successfully first.

Have long-term vision and be patient. It can take 4-5 years of solid part-time effort to build the monthly residual income you’re looking for.

“Network marketing scam” is a term often wrongly applied to perfectly legitimate opportunities by people who misunderstood the nature of the business from the beginning.
